Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations
- Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and fixture mounting under supervision
- Conduct preliminary system checks and troubleshooting diagnostics
- Maintain clean, organized work sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Document work progress and complete daily reporting requirements
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
- Respond to emergency service calls during scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – training provided
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic math and measurement skills for accurate installations
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to obtain Illinois electrician trainee license
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
