Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical schematics
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Use specialized tools safely (multimeters, conduit benders)
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex projects
- Document work orders and safety inspections
- Participate in ongoing skills training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Willingness to obtain Georgia Electrical License (paid training)
- Pass background check and drug screening
