Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials and tools before the shift begins.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, mounting outlets, and installing fixtures under supervision.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe according to OSHA standards.
- Learn to read blueprints and follow technical diagrams under the guidance of senior staff.
- Transport tools and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding job progress.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or certifications required; on-the-job training provided.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb ladders, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to obtain necessary state licenses as you advance in your career.
