What You Will Do:
As a Part-Time Electrician, you will assist senior technicians with various electrical projects ranging from residential wiring to commercial maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards or code violations.
- Prepare job sites by gathering materials and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain job progress and answer questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tool maintenance.
- Learn and adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime.
- Basic math skills for reading blueprints and calculating measurements.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- A valid certificate of liability insurance is a plus but not required.
