Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts and circuit requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures, to identify and resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and proposed solutions.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License for the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial and residential projects.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
