Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting methods
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to project specifications
- Document work activities and maintain accurate job records
- Perform system inspections and recommend upgrades
Qualifications
- Valid electrician license in Florida
- 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of NEC and Florida Building Codes
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
