Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct thorough inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, circuit issues, and power distribution problems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate project status effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license (State of Illinois).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional electrical experience.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, wiring, and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a part-time role.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
