Responsibilities
- System Installation & Repair: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex electrical issues, circuit failures, and power distribution problems efficiently.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical layouts accurately.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Client Relations: Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical requirements and provide updates on project progress.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain electrical tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license (Apprentice license with supervisory approval considered).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and wiring standards.
- Tools: Proficient in using electrical testing equipment, meters, and hand tools.
- Availability: Flexible schedule availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
