Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems including leaks, clogs, and fixture installations
- Install and maintain water heaters, boilers, and HVAC plumbing components
- Perform pipefitting, drainage system repairs, and backflow prevention testing
- Adhere to NYC plumbing codes, OSHA safety standards, and EPA regulations
- Provide accurate estimates and maintain detailed service reports
- Respond to emergency calls within 2-hour service windows
- Collaborate with team members on large-scale commercial projects
Qualifications
- New York State Plumber's License (Class 1 or 2)
- 3+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Proficiency with trenchless pipe repair and camera inspection systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex plumbing systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
