Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance for residential and commercial properties
- Operate specialized tools (pipe cutters, drain snakes, hydro-jets) and troubleshoot complex plumbing systems
- Inspect water heaters, sump pumps, and backflow prevention devices
- Provide accurate cost estimates and maintain detailed service reports
- Adhere to all safety protocols and building codes (Michigan Plumbing Code, UPC)
- Deliver exceptional customer service with clear communication and professional presentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years verifiable plumbing experience with residential/commercial systems
- Valid Michigan Plumber's License or Journeyman certification required
- Proficiency in pipefitting, fixture installation, and drain cleaning techniques
- Strong diagnostic skills for water leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Ability to work independently while maintaining service quality standards
- Reliable transportation and basic hand/power tool proficiency
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
