Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting on plumbing systems (pipes, fixtures, water heaters)
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, joining, and repairing pipes
- Conduct routine plumbing inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and comply with OSHA standards
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate job documentation
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required – we provide paid on-the-job training
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites across DC metro area
- Willingness to obtain necessary plumbing certifications within 6 months
