Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, burst pipes, and fixture failures.
- Install, maintain, and repair water heaters, faucets, toilets, showers, and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to plan projects accurately.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system longevity and safety.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical repairs, provide estimates, and offer maintenance advice.
- Adhere strictly to all local New York building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Keep the work vehicle and toolbelt organized and in excellent condition.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Master or Journeyman Plumber’s License issued by the State of New York.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial plumbing.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of pipe materials (PVC, copper, PEX) and advanced fitting techniques.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), work in confined spaces, and perform work at various heights.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
