Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and burst pipes, efficiently and effectively.
- Install and maintain water heaters, fixtures, and piping systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all plumbing systems comply with local District of Columbia safety codes and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining repairs clearly and professionally to clients.
- Use hand and power tools correctly to ensure safety and precision in every job.
- Respond to emergency service calls within the designated timeframe.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and tool area.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Plumber License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations in Washington, DC.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight or confined spaces.
- Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or evenings if required.
