Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and manual inspection
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics for new construction projects
- Ensure all work complies with DC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Perform emergency repairs during on-call rotation (rotating schedule)
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with clients
- Maintain clean worksites and proper tool maintenance
- Complete detailed service reports and documentation
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required – we train motivated beginners
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to obtain DC plumbing license within 6 months (company-sponsored)
- Background check and drug screen required
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights/weekends for emergencies
- High school diploma or equivalent
