Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Learn to read blueprints, understand local plumbing codes, and interpret technical drawings.
- Prepare job sites, dig trenches, and haul materials as directed by the lead plumber.
- Operate power and hand tools, including pipe cutters, wrenches, and soldering torches, under supervision.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety regulations.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and property owners.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- No prior plumbing experience is required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (50+ lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
