Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations
- Learn pipefitting techniques for water supply, drainage, and gas systems
- Perform basic plumbing repairs under supervision
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Follow plumbing codes and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship program
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC
