Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and manual inspection
- Perform pipe fitting, fixture repairs, and drain cleaning under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following safety standards
- Interact professionally with homeowners and commercial clients
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and skill assessments
- Participate in on-call emergency services on rotation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Boston
- No prior plumbing experience required - we train!
