Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers in residential and commercial installations
- Learn pipefitting, drain cleaning, and fixture repair techniques
- Perform diagnostic tests and plumbing system inspections
- Maintain clean and safe job sites following OSHA standards
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and certification requirements
- Document work orders and maintain inventory of materials
- Participate in emergency plumbing calls on rotation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Atlanta metro
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to completing 4-year apprenticeship program
- No prior plumbing experience required – training provided
