Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Learn to properly identify, cut, thread, and assemble various types of piping and tubing.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Comply with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Perform basic pipe fitting tasks such as soldering and brazing under supervision.
- Maintain accurate logs of materials used and tasks completed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and working in tight spaces.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the plumbing trade.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
