Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings under supervision.
- Perform basic pipefitting tasks, including cutting, threading, and soldering copper pipes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during all tasks.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain procedures and answer basic questions.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
