- Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems and fixtures.
- Perform routine inspections to diagnose leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues efficiently.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to clear drains and sewer lines.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with local Seattle building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain services and answer questions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not always required.
- A strong willingness to learn and obtain required state plumbing certifications.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in tight, confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and reading blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
