Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Prepare job sites by gathering tools, materials, and equipment.
- Perform basic cleaning of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Learn to read blueprints and understand local plumbing codes.
- Transport materials and supplies to and from job sites.
- Perform basic pipe fitting and soldering under supervision.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed on the job site.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications (training provided).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
