Job Responsibilities
As a Plumber Apprentice, you will support our senior technicians in various aspects of plumbing maintenance and installation.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pipe bursts.
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial piping systems according to local codes and safety regulations.
- Locate and identify plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and manual inspection.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future system failures.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain problems and provide solutions.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe at the end of the shift.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to master the trade with a positive attitude toward training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various environments (hot, cold, cramped spaces).
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read measurements and blueprints is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- High School Diploma: High school diploma or GED preferred.
