Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain pipe systems, fixtures, and appliances (water heaters, faucets, toilets).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues efficiently using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan layout and installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local and state plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper waste disposal and site cleanup.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and provide solutions.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional commercial and residential plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of various pipe materials (PVC, copper, PEX, iron) and joining techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
