Responsibilities
- Perform residential plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs, fixture replacements)
- Install and maintain water heaters, boilers, and piping systems
- Diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and inspection methods
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes in all installations
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
- Assist senior plumbers on complex projects and emergency calls
- Maintain clean work areas and proper tool inventory
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to obtain Illinois plumbing license (training provided)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass background check and drug screening
