Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems for water, drainage, gas, and other fluid needs in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of water supply, waste, and venting systems.
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
- Assemble and install pipes, fixtures, and equipment for water supply, drainage, and heating systems using hand and power tools.
- Test pipes for leaks using pressure testing equipment and repair or replace faulty piping systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems to ensure longevity and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining complex issues to clients in an easy-to-understand manner.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required. We are willing to train the right candidates who are eager to learn.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths and calculating material requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
