Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Assist in the installation of piping systems, fixtures, and appliances for both residential and commercial properties.
- Leak Detection: Identify and repair leaks in water lines, gas lines, and drainage systems efficiently.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, explain technical issues in simple terms, and ensure satisfaction.
- Site Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Tool Management: Properly use, maintain, and transport plumbing tools and equipment.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Experience: No formal plumbing experience required; willingness to learn is essential.
- License: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs), work in tight spaces, crawl under sinks, and perform work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic math skills for measuring, problem-solving mindset, and manual dexterity.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and emergency call-outs.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
