Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for water, gas, and drainage.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pressure problems.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain work details, provide accurate estimates, and answer questions.
- Ensure all tools and vehicles are maintained and cleaned after every job.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid State of Pennsylvania or Virginia Plumbing License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Strong knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, and joining methods (soldering, threading, welding).
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
