Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping according to code.
- Locate and mark positions for pipes, fittings, and equipment, using blueprints and drawings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain problems and recommended solutions.
- Use hand and power tools, including pipe wrenches, pressure testers, and soldering torches.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we provide full training for the right candidate.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
