Position Overview
We need a reliable Plumber to handle residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance during weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose plumbing issues using inspection tools and testing methods
- Perform emergency repairs and routine maintenance services
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to resolve plumbing problems
- Prepare detailed work estimates and service reports
- Manage inventory and order plumbing materials and supplies
- Train junior plumbers on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred
- 3+ years of professional plumbing experience
- Valid Florida plumber's license (Class A or B)
- Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces
