Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and installation of various plumbing systems, including water, gas, and drainage.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system.
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
- Assemble, install, and test pipes, fittings, and fixtures using tools such as pipe cutters, threaders, and pipe wrenches.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Plumber or Master Plumber license required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of pipe materials, welding techniques, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
