Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems (pipes, fixtures, water heaters)
- Diagnose issues using advanced diagnostic tools and manual inspection
- Perform emergency repairs with minimal downtime for clients
- Ensure compliance with Michigan plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order materials for assigned projects
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
- Provide detailed quotes and project timelines to clients
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid Michigan Master Plumber license (or journeyman with license eligibility)
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency in trenchless pipe repair and hydro-jetting
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex plumbing failures
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Background check and drug screen required
