Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and burst pipes.
- Install, replace, and maintain plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and faucets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform quality inspections on completed work to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with clients.
- Respond to emergency calls and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to obtain necessary plumbing licenses/certifications as required by the state of Illinois.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
