Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform basic pipefitting, welding, and soldering tasks under supervision.
- Identify and troubleshoot common plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site.
- Interact professionally with customers, explaining repair options and providing excellent service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (Trade school certification is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of math, geometry, and measurement is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
- Physical stamina: ability to lift heavy objects, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
