Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and bending using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, safe, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement available).
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols strictly.
- No prior plumbing experience required (Apprenticeship training provided).
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.
