Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing AI-quantum hybrid computing frameworks
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE)
- Translate theoretical models into scalable production-ready quantum AI solutions
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants for 2026-focused initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum neural networks
- Expertise in high-performance computing architectures and distributed systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulators
