Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate superconducting qubits and optimize gate operations
- Create hybrid classical-quantum computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead security audits for quantum-resistant blockchain protocols
- Publish research in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum Journal
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum circuit design principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming frameworks
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, or color codes)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Familiarity with superconducting quantum processors or trapped-ion systems
- Certification in AWS Braket or Azure Quantum platforms
