Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction techniques to enhance quantum processor stability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum machine learning models
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates in quantum physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
