The Role:
We are looking for someone who doesn't just follow instructions but pushes the boundaries of what is possible in 2D motion graphics. You will lead projects from storyboard conception to final render, mentoring junior talent along the way.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-fidelity 2D animations using industry-standard software (After Effects, Blender, or Toon Boom Harmony).
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors and Creative Producers to ensure visual consistency and storytelling excellence.
- Optimize rendering times and manage complex asset libraries for scalability.
- Mentor junior animators, providing technical and artistic feedback to elevate the team's overall performance.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in motion design, including procedural animation and generative art.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or character animation.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of animation principles: timing, spacing, squash and stretch, and follow-through.
- A robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of styles, from flat design to complex motion typography.
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
