Responsibilities
- Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan project layouts and circuitry.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights.
