Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently with minimal downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future equipment failures.
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license required (State of Michigan).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
