Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Lead troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures for complex electrical issues
- Supervise and train apprentice electricians on best practices
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and material inventory
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain detailed documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of journey-level electrician experience
- Valid North Carolina electrical license (Journeyman or Master)
- Proven expertise in commercial/industrial electrical systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with PLC systems and automation controls preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
