Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and California regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using advanced testing tools
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Conduct safety inspections and implement hazard prevention measures
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and clients on complex projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman license
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of NEC and California Title 24 requirements
- Experience with conduit bending, power distribution, and control systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
