Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in residential and commercial settings.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to prevent hazards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Mentor apprentices and provide guidance on complex technical issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
