Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on complex electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and motor control centers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults during night operations to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute repairs and upgrades.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and company lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Install, repair, and maintain lighting systems, conduit, and control panels.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to document maintenance logs and technical issues.
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical calls to maintain facility safety and productivity.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license required; Master Electrician license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
- Proven experience working in Night Shift environments.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
