Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair high-voltage electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Lead project teams while ensuring strict adherence to NEC and OSHA safety standards
- Diagnose electrical failures using advanced diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with engineers and contractors to optimize system efficiency
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and system configurations
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, motor controls, and VFD installations
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Advanced knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) updates
- Strong problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
