Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work meets strict safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices on best practices and safety protocols.
- Estimate material and labor costs for new projects and client proposals.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and California Electrical Code.
- Proficiency in using power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
