Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, social, and economic trends to forecast industry shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Author thought leadership publications and present findings at industry forums
- Identify emerging technologies and partnerships with exponential growth potential
- Design and implement horizon-scanning processes across the organization
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities in the company
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership
- Published work on emerging technologies or future trends (articles, reports)
- Experience with quantitative forecasting tools and qualitative research methods
