Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology/societal foresight framework using advanced scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and validate disruptive opportunities across AI, biotech, and sustainable energy sectors
- Produce executive-ready trend briefings and strategic roadmaps for C-suite stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight insights into prototype development pipelines
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and pattern recognition techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience leading cross-geographical, multi-disciplinary teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (portfolio required)
