Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and trend analysis
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate C-level workshops and stakeholder presentations on future implications
- Collaborate with R&D to prioritize future-focused R&D initiatives
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against strategic milestones
- Author thought leadership publications and industry trend reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive stakeholder management experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Published thought leader with 10+ industry publications or patents
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex strategic transformations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFMP) or equivalent
